W.O.W. Post- And Another One!

This past Monday, I had a little pity party at work.
You know how it is, you go on vacation, eat great food, don’t work out (at least I didn’t) and the scale moves and you want to throw it through the window!
(Don’t worry I didn’t!)

Well after talking to my co workers, it seems they were having some of the same issues that people typically have when they are trying to lose weight and be healthy…

“I’m tired”
“I’m not motivated”
“Nothing Works”
“I have to get my eating together”
“I don’t have time”
“I have children to take care of”

Trust me…. I know.. There are so many reasons (excuses my hubby would say)
that it may be a bit difficult to workout, but what we have to do is find a reason TO workout and stick to it. You know?

With all of the discussions, we have decided to have a 90 day challenge.

There are 4 of us, and for the next 90 days we have committed to:

-Workout at least 3 times a week
(for me I’m going to aim for 4)
-Drink at least 64 oz of water a day
-Stay within our eating range -weight watchers,caloric intake, etc.
(for me I am going to eat no more than 1700 calories a day)
-Monday Meetings- to check progress

It may not seem like a lot, but this is a small step in the right direction and it will help to keep each other motivated. We have a big fat piggy bank that we are  all trying to win for the person with the most stars!

Yes we have a star chart like we are in elementary school (Thanks Mel!)

This chart is really massive and has everyone’s name on it as well as the goals, and measurements, weight loss, and blood pressure!

90 Day Challenge Chart

We all have our individual personal goals that we are trying to achieve, but I think us working together will help us even more! I also believe that by working together, that we can start developing our own great personal habits! I’m really into fitness, it is the food thing I’m trying to get down pat, and I know with time it will!
