W.O.W. – Bein Cute

Hey guys!
Yep, it’s time for another weight on Wednesday post!
I’ve managed to stay the same this week and I’m okay with that. I’m actually glad I didn’t gain weight, you know with having friends visiting, Easter, and a few co worker outings! Don’t worry, I’ve been making pretty healthy choices! In fact, I was so excited that last night when I went out to eat with my Z chic Tera, I actually made a very smart dinner choice, AT CHILIS!!!!

Chili's Sweet & Spicy Chicken

This delicious dish was featured on Chili’s Lighter Choices Menu. This menu features nice dishes under 750 calories! Although it was a tad bit spicy (says so  in the title), it was very delicious! The broccoli was cooked very well, I enjoyed the sweet taste of the chicken along with the peppers and rice. I noticed that it was a nice size portion, but still smaller than the typical portion sizes you typically get at a restaurant! It made me feel full and fabulous! You must try it out!!!

Another thing I wanted to share with you today, is the importance of  looking good when you go workout. I know some of you probably read that line and thought WHAT? Ok, bear with me. The truth of the matter is, clothes help us feel better even on our worse days. Many of workout, to be tone and to lose weight, because when we look in the mirror, we do not like what we see. Well if we put clothes that just aren’t flattering on top of our body, that can just make things worse! So I encourage you to pick up some nice workout clothes! I guarantee you, it will make you feel better about going out and working out in public! Last night I went to Academy and purchased 2 pretty vibrant shirts for 9.99 a piece! I also bought some capris since it’s getting pretty hot out here, to wear in the gym.

I can’t wait to wear them to my next Zumba class! I’m not saying you have to look like a model when you go workout (trust me, I still wear my hair wrapped up!) What I’m saying is, put in a little effort! It makes you feel a bit better about yourself just as if you were to dress up to go out somewhere. Well that’s it for now! Go ahead and try and get your “style on” while working out!!!

Things to focus on for me this week when it comes to weight loss:

1. Attempt to not get on the scale for two weeks. (Pretty tough, but I think I’m becoming scale obsessed and it’s not always about the numbers on the scale!

2. Continue to search for cute workout clothes, afterall it’s starting to warm up out there!

3. Continue to eat right and kick my weight in the face!

P.S. -Remember when trying to find cute workout clothes, it’s key to make sure you are comfortable! If you aren’t comfortable don’t go too far overboard! I’m just saying put forth a little effort!
