W.O.W. 13

4 Apr

Yep!
It’s time for another weight on Wednesday post! I’m happy to report I’m down another 1.5. pounds!
I’m starting to really see the difference in how clothes fit me, and how I feel overall. I’ve been really sore lately, due to pushing myself more in Zumba. I’ve also decided to incorporate a simple ab workout 3 times a week. I’m starting out with 100 crunches on my husband’s ab crunchy thingy (Sorry, I don’t know what it’s called!)
Let me just tell you, I used it this past Saturday and I’m STILL sore from using that thing! Okay, so it looks as if it is called an Ab Cruncher, so THERE! I was close!
I’m really excited about my weight loss! I keep going back and forth and the weight is coming off slowly, but I know it’s because I’m still eating the things I love but just in moderation. It is actually helping me, that it is going this way. It allows me to improve my overall diet, but just not drastically! I’m really happy because now my 2nd number is lower!!!! Whoop Whoop!!!! It was taking me forever to get down from there! I really hope and pray that I can get a little bit lower so I don’t ever have to get back up to a high number again! The great thing is, many of my co workers have noticed that I have slimmed down. I’ve had multiple people tell me I look smaller, and my clothes are starting to fit better. I even look smaller in my workout clothes. See:

March 2012

Although I’m completely grossed out by the first picture, it’s a true picture of me. The bottom picture was just taken in March, and I’ve lost more weight since then. I realized my arm looks bigger on this picture, but I think it’s due to the three bras I was wearing (Don’t ask!,lol) I’ve been really frustrated that I haven’t lost a whole bunch of weight, but you can’t tell me anything when it comes to inches! The picture speaks for itself! I even feel better! Once you see a bit of progress, you can’t help but commit to improving your self and your overall health…. You just feel better! TRUST ME! Although I really want the scale to move down even more, the pictures tell me, that I’m slimming down and gaining some muscle! I’m so thankful to Zumba and the amazing instructor for that. Also fitness friends, that have encouraged me and pushed me even when I’m ready to give up. I’m forever grateful 🙂 You see, you don’t have to be miserable to lose weight. God knows I’m not!!!!

I hope this post inspires you to continue in your healthy lifestyle efforts, and not to be discouraged by the scale. Trust me, I get discouraged myself, but I’m feeling a bit bright today! I even decided to wear a bright look today! Check me out:

Continue on your path to be healthy, and If I can help in anyways, I will 🙂

Until Next Time, Mrs. SPJ 🙂
